Question about Nintendo Wii Console

Scratching disks It appears that my wii console is somehow scratching all of my disks.  All of my games have several scratches that go around the outside edge og the disk.  I even tried with the last two games that I purchased being very careful about taking it out of the game box and putting it away carefully.  Still the scratches appeared after about one month of use.

My brother just wrecked most of my discs for the wii but some of them are fine and the same message is popping up. and i noticed the scratches are in circles around. could it be the wii scratching the...

it could be your wii,but if you were to clean a disk use tooth paste and gently rub it on the disk up and down. never clean a disk in a circular motion. or go to a game store and ask if they can clean the disk. or buy scratch out. can be found at a block buster. hope this helped. :)

When a disk is inserted, error message says "unable to read disk".

You might either have inserted the disk the wrong way, flip it around. Or the disc is scratched/dirty The Wii might not also recognize the CD.

Hope this helps : )

Wii can not read disk

Disk may need cleaned, try cleaning with a slightly damp cloth using a light detergent, never use Bleach's or other strong detergents as they may damage disks. Also you can check for scratches, I personally use Skip Doctor to remove scratches from my disks.

My Wii keeps saying "unable to read game disk". It is a new game with now scratches.

the lens may be bad or needs to be the machine scratching the disk.if so there maybe some kind of foreign object or a broken piece of plastic inside the machine.

When i put game in comes up disc error what do we do

If the problem exists with all disks, your problem is with the disk drive itself. Wii disk drive cleaning kits retail less than US 8$ and are your best solution in this case. They include a custom sized microfiber tool used to clean the laser reading lens inside your Wii disk drive. If you have trouble with just one disk, the disk you are using may be dirty, scratched, or defective. Try cleaning your disk with water and a soft cloth (Do not use a paper towel, it will just leave paper pieces on the disk.) If the cleaning does not help, look for scratches on the top AND bottom of the disk. The slightest scratch on the disk can cause a read error. If you have a scratch you can try a disk buffer. Some video and game rental stores offer a disk buffing service for a small fee, if buffing and cleaning do not work, your disk is most likely defective. Return the game to the store you purchased it from and ask for a replacement if possible.

The console is not reading several games that it used to read.

Sometime the inside could be dusty try to get one of those pressurised air gun dusters and spray inside the disk slot. sometime the inner ring of the disk were the system variefies its a wii game could be slighly dirty so clean mainly around were the hole is in the disk.

Wii is scratching discs and unable to load

If there are kids around check if something is inside it. If there is and it is rubbing on the disk it will slow the disk so the console won't read it. It does kind of look like a coin slot.
