Question about Canon ZR60 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Hi, when I transfer video from my handycam to my PC (using Imagemixer) the video produces no sound. The video is fine, I have my speakers turned on and all other audio/video files on the computer work, even within the same program. I noticed that when the video is playing in capture mode the only sound comes from the handycam and not in the computer (while the actual video is in both), although I don't know if this is normal. I tried changing some menu settings such as AV/DV out but that didn't work. Please help! I am transferring video from a canon camcorder to DVD using a Sony mc5 dvdirect. I get picture, but no sound. I am using an s cable to transfer the video.
I have the smae exact problem

Check your audio settings

There is no sound carrier on an S video connection. It's Video only. use the AV left and right cables for the sound. It is normal not to monitor audio when capturing.
