Re: Blinking lights

Try turning the unit off for one minute. Then turn the unit back on and turn the water dial to the left and press the water button until the unit flushes itself. This is the solution customer service gave to me and it worked wonderfully!

Why does the power light keep blinking

The blinking light is wrongfully indicating that there is not enough water in the tank. The sensor is a small magnet that is floating in a compartment at the bottom of the water tank. (The black square in the corner) You shold be able to see it. Check if it is stuck at the bottom and if it is floating in its chamber. If that is OK, the sensor inside the coffee maker that is reading the magnet might either have come faulty or dispaced (due to a shock?). That would need a disasembly of the coffee maker.

Saeco magic machine, all the lights are blinking. Turning the machine off makes no difference. Can't make coffee. occasionally if we run a cup of coffee it will stop the blinking, but now that does not...

If all the lights are blinking in a row then you have a Main electronic board problem. Most common issue is that boiler has leaked water on board and caused it to fail.

Lowest light is blinking constantly

The Lower red light is blinking, because something is not in correctly. Make sure all of your trays and draws are in correctly. Also, check the brew group is in all the way. Remove it and reinstall it.

If remove and reinstalling does not solve the problem, then you will need to have the machine serviced. You may have a problem with a swith or some other electrical related issue.

You can contact me at if there is anything else I can help you with.

Blinking small red light.

I had that problem, it is the filetr reminder. I used Reverse Osmosis water so I dont use a =fileter, but the machine doesn't know that. If I recall the manual was wrong on which button to push an hold. I dont remember which was was right (could be the steam button). but one of them does make the light go out in about 5-10 sec.

Blinking light

here is the link to the use and care guide; I didn't find anything specific but i think it would be worth running through the cleaning procedure - hopefully this may solve the problem. there appear to be no other possible sources of an error unless the actual control circuit board is shot. please ask again if this doesn't solve it :)
