Ive recently installed Virgin broadband and sincethe install my printer will not print from an open internet page. It still prints fine if I copy and paste to word. any ideas?

Insert the software disc for the HP 1210 printer before you plug the printer into the computer with the USB cable. Allow the disc to install the software. You will be prompted to choose a destination for the software. Plug in the printer USB cable to the computer when the installation program tells you to. This will be after it has installed any drivers that you need to run the printer on the computer. Complete the installation by running a print test to make sure the printer software is installed correctly. You may remove the disc after the print test is complete.
Installation without a Disc
Visit the website http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html to find the available drivers needed to run the printer on your computer. On this page, select "Download drivers and software." Enter "HP 1210 printer" in the product box and click the arrow to find the drivers.Select your printer from the list provided. This will take you to the next page, on which you will indicate your operating system.Select the "HP Officejet and PSC Full Feature Software and Driver" under "Driver" to begin the download. After the download is complete, you can open the file from the download location and install the software and drivers. Follow the installation software's prompts, after you finish download the drivers you need to double click it,it will give you the option to RUN or DON'T RUN the driver click on RUN and it would continue the installation.Run a test print.
Check the printer setting selecting the background (embedded backgroud) in Option of printer properties.
Also try after resetting to defaults. If it is coming blank paper on online printing. otherwise, try to print a PDF file or already saved webpage and let me know.

Not sure but this printer may not be compatable with vista. OR.... you say it goes through the motions, does a page of paper come out? Did you try a different cartridge?
