Question about KitchenAid 24 in. KUDG25SH Built-in Dishwasher
All of a sudden the dishwasher stopped and will not restart or have any buttons lit up. I have tried the breaker, the plug and disabling the child lock but it still will not come on. I have had it with all these 2 year old appliances. I bought an entire kitchen full of Whirlpool appliances 2 years ago. The icemaker on the fridge broke 2 weeks ago. The mother board on my stove 2 months ago and now my dishwasher. I guess the OTR microwave is next.
Ok there is a thermal fuse mounted on the control board that shuts down when it gets too hot. Did you run a sanitize cycle? Even if customers dont use the sani cycle which i recommend the fuse may open due to poor wire connections. The new fuse kit comes with a new harness and new connectors. Check the old fuse to be sure its bad. Dont remove the connectors from the new switch at all - dont disturb them and they will work better.

The lock button activates/deactivates the Keylock or the Childlock functions. This button has either a key or a padlock icon. I believe that on this model it is a padlock
The Keylock feature disables all the buttons on the control panel.
To activate, press and hold the button until you hear one beep (3 seconds). The symbol
appears in the electronic display when the Keylock feature is activated.
The Childlock feature locks the drawer and disables all the buttons on the control panel.
To activate, press and hold the button until you hear two beeps (5 seconds). The symbol
appears in the electronic display when the Childlock feature is activated.
To cancel the Childlock feature, press and hold the button until you hear one beep and the
symbol disappears from the electronic display.

If this doesn't work... And I've seen these units do some odd things. Try unplugging it for about an hour (if plug is not under sink you can turn of the breaker that powers the unit). Then plug it back in and see if that works. These dishwasher like many modern day appliances have solid state microprocessors in them which sometimes need reset just like a computer.
Hope this helps.
