We have the same problem, picture but can not get sound when playback. You can tell the mic works when recording - just no sound on playback....any help with this issue out there??????

I recorded several hours with the jvc 20gb hard drive camcorder but when i i play it back on the computer and my camera it has no sound. vidoe is fine but no sound.
