The ice shute from the freezer bin through the door to the dispenser accumulates ice and clogs up every 2 or 3 days. We have to clean it out manually.

The problem here is the little door inside the shoot is either blocked with ice or the solenoid is defective. Try using a hairdryer to clear any ice, or replace the solenoid.
Any further questions please feel free to ask.

There is a drip inside the refrigerator. I shut off the water supply for the ice maker and it is still dripping. Now what?

your defrost drain is clogged with ice. Its not clogged for any other reason than ice build up covers drain hole. empty your fridge, turn off and open both doors, blow fan for 24 hours to clear out all ice. this is a common problem with kenmore top freezer models. Whirpool Refg Mark 1side by side with Ice Maker..... Freezer OK..Temp. OK Ice maker maes make Ice When ice release is pressed=no ice comes out//and the motor sounds as if is trying work but somrthing is...

3 posibilities. Remove bucket, dump the ice and check the auger (the metal part that spins the ice forward. 2. There is a motor behind the ice holder with 2 ears sticking out. See if you can turn it both ways with your fingers. Stiff, but it does turn. If not, many times it can be removed and left on a counter for a day to dry out. If it will then turn reinstall, and try it. If no luck, you'll need to replace it. 3. Open freezer door and inspect the shute for an obstruction including ice. If the shute is full of cubes, could be a flap door hanging up. The flap is necessary to prevent air from entering the freezer compartment.

Ice maker icing up

Sounds like you may have a couple of problems here. The frost build up could be from a bad door seal. Moist air can be drawn in and collect on the inside. As for the water temp, it sounds like the water line connected to the refrigerator could be tapped off a hot water line. It needs to be connected to a potible cold water line.

Ice build up on bottom of freezer. Water leaks out of freezer possibly from melting. Water leaks onto floor of kitchen.

Your problem is possibly one of two things. The ice maker is leaking or the defrost tray behind the rear panel inside freezer back wall is clogged with ice or something else. If you know its not the ice maker unplug the refrigerator and remove the back panel to see if the drain is blocked there, Let me know, Sea Breeze
