Out of focus both 14-42 and 40-150 when wide open

My new E-520 is almost always out of focus with 14-42mm and 40-150mm kit lenses when wide open. As the aperture is closed down the images get sharper and f/8 both give reasonably well focussed images. This is not a mild softening that would be excpected at large (wide) apertures -- the camera is clearly out of focus. Interstingly, in live view and using imager AF the pictures come out pretty well focussed and sharp at all apertures.

Last week I sent the camera and one of the lenses to Olympus for inspection and repair and got it back today. Absolutely nothing has changed although the service report says "focus recalibrated". From the test images they have included with the report it appears they took a few sots of a test screen at f/8 and send it back to me. The report also says "firmware updated" although it makes no sense. I already had the latest firmware and the firmware version on the camera and lens are the same before and after service!

I am going to send the camera back for service.
