Husqvarna problems

Your deck either engages with a cable or an electric clutch, which one is it. Cutting deck engaged when started is a switch issue.

John deere mower stopped cutting

it could be a few different things it depends on if it is a electric clutch or manual for engaging the deck. It also could be a bad pulley on the deck

I've got a 2005 husqvarna yth 2042 riding mower,i broke one of the belt guides,(on order)-the spring extension for the clutch, where does it hook to?

Not too sure which guide you are refering too, the only keeper at the clutch is the anti rotation bracket for the clutch itself, it bolts to the side of the chassis and the other end sits into a cut a way in the side of the clutch assembly.

Blade will not engage but all saftey features works

With the pto switch pulled out check with a multi meter that you have a 12 volt supply the the clutch, pull the connector apart at the clutch end to do this, if there is no supply it is a switch or wireing issue, if there is a supply, you shouls have an audible click when the pto switch is pulled out, this is the elecro magnetic clutch engaging, if the click is present, check the belt from the clutch to the deck.

My Motion Drive Belt slipped of it's pulley on a Husqvarna Riding Mower Model 917-289570. Do I have to remove the rear tire to put the belt back on?

i had a 2148. you remove the mower deck as the first step. feed the belt over the pulley on top the transmission, then put it over the engine pulley. then have someone push the clutch pedal in so the tensioner pulley moves, put the belt in the guide pulley and on the tensioner. release the clutch put the deck back on and you are good to go. notice there are little keepers welded to the frame for the front, engine, pulley and it is easy to mistakenly put the belt over them instead of under them.

a general rule is that a pulley shaped like a Vee takes the V of the belt whilst a pulley which is flat takes the flat back of the belt. if you bear that in mind you will not have a problem putting belts back on. also there is a little decal on top the deck showing how the deck belt and deck drive belt go.

I have a model LTH130 42 inch cut mower and just installed a new elect. clutch and started mowing grass and it began to feel like it was bogging down and I stopped the engine and the belt was very hot....

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

See this link and locate your deck:
http://opebycrigby.tripod.com/decks/jddeck.html

Make sure you have the belt routed correctly. ALSO make sure that you do not have it flipped 180 deg over the idler.

I recommend that you unhook the belt from the mower deck pulleys and try rotating the blades. A bad blade bearing can cause a belt to heat up. Of any of the blades are hard to turn by hand that blade bearing will need to be replaced. Check the idler pulley also.

If after checking the above you continue to experience a problem just respond here and I will help you.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

2007 Husqvarna Riding mower blade will not engage when switch pulled out. Fuse blows & mower dies! Help!

Sounds like you electric blade clutch is bad. I just had the same thing happen to my exmark mower. I was cutting grass and the engine just shut down. It would not crank over. Checked the fuses and replaced one blown fuse. The engine wanted to crank over but it was locked up. I looked the engine over and seen that the bearing in the electric clutch seized up causing the clutch to melt.
