I just had comcast install wireless internet on my mac book pro and I am using the Motorola sbg900. When I insert the disk I can not open any thing on it my computer does not recognize it, it keeps asking me to choose an application, but the cable guy was able to do it somehow. I just want to set up a wep password and can't. please help
You don't need your disk to do this you need to type http://192.168.0.1 into your web browser. this will access your your modems setup program. your default user name will be "admin" and password will be "motorola" as long as you haven't changed it.. you can read in your manual how to set up your wep key from here on in. if you need to download the manual give be a bell and i will post it on my web page for you.

I can't log in to my sbg900 through Internet Explorer but I can through Safari. Obviously there's something blocking it in Explorer but I don't know where to begin to look for changing settings.

I'm trying to get all my Macs running "Back to my Mac". But I have the Motorola SBG900. It gives me this error when I try to start Back to my Mac.
Back to my Mac isn't working properly because it requires a router that supports NAT port mapping protocol(NAT-PMP) or Universal plug-n-play (UPnP). Make sure your router supports one of these and that it is enabled.
I've looked all over the page Motorola gave me a link for and it has nothing that helps. Can someone here help, please?
