Pt-53wx53 still have shutdown. replaced

Two ways to approach this; first replace any 2.2 ohm resistor that is even a little discolored; second you may have got a bad new IC---it does not happen a lot but it does happen; way to find out is UNSOLDER BOTH IC's completely and turn the set on---if it comes on (forget about no convergence) and stays on---one of the IC's is probably bad. HINT:follow the path from the discolored resistor to one of the two ic's and that is the most likely bad one---I have replaced hundreds of these and every once in a while I get a bad new one----I just get two more new ones and do it again---fyi---you can buy the 392-110's on ebay for less then 13 dollars for a pair---Suburban electronics is the best vendor and they come with a 6 month warranty---last time I got a bad one I just emailed them and they sent me 2 more free.
