My brothers, All-in-one 1-2-45 has just ended, and 121 offer him another
12 months for 99 pound. He rang them and pointed out he'd rather go
and pay 99 pound (in the high street) or approx 70 (on the internet)
for a new 1-2-45 all-in-one pack, which would give him a spare phone,
at the cost of new number. He spoke to the specialist care team, and
they offered to reduce it to 79.99 for another 12 months. Then they
asked if he wanted to upgrade his phone, he said he liked the motorola
montecarlo (dual-band, flip phone, with vibrating Li-ion battery). They
offered him a new Motorola Montecarlo and 12 months line rental for 149
pounds. Which isn't bad, when the phone has a rrp of 79.99, but can be
bought for about 40 pounds with a new contract.

Yes , I should have made myself more clear, I meant change to Talkahead
and then change the Talkahead to talk 30 on month 2.

But you can switch to any other tariff once you have connected.

second year is 99Pounds. Call 121 Customer services who will be able to
help you out with this

Oh yes, they wrote to me and offered me ??12 off (for the whole year not per
month) if I signed up for another 12 months. can't think why I didn't take
them up, now let me see ??17.50 * 12 = ??210 - ??12 discount = ??198 + old phone
or a new all in one ??80 + new phone.

Mine ran out on 23/12. I wasn't contacted by 121, but bought a new
Nevada all-in-one for use on 24/12 at ??99.99. I had problems with registering
it so 121 gave me an extra 12 months for ??99.99, plus a few goodies.

car charger.

It's by far and away the cheapest way to have a phone. i.e. get a
new all-in-one every 12months. However, the downside is having a
new phone number.  Get her a personal number from www.flextel.co.uk
and changing number wont be a problem. It'll also make her mobile
cheaper to call, in some circumstances.

Number portability has to be provided between networks. There is no
good reason for them to do it between all-in-one packs. They would
lose money that way.
