I can hearing brewing noise, but no wat...

Model #CC500. Bought years ago from QVC. Found that coffee grounds
were left in basket. Maybe grounds got into system. Fill reservoir with
water, turn on, can hear brewing sounds, but water doesn't fill the
coffee basket or carafe.

What can I do to get it to work.
