my fisher paykel eco smart GWL11 has begun to have trouble with spinning. The lid won't lock and tub won't spin--it just tries to go clockwise and then counterclockwise and eventually begins alarming and flashing a set of lights on the panel. I have powered off, unplugged, jiggled the lock, rearranged the clothes load. I can't figure out what makes it finally grab and go, but so far I haven't had to take anything to the laundromat to spin it. Help?

Model GWL11 Fisher&Paykel will not go into spin cycle. Led shows Spin but water keeps coming in and partially draining out.

Press "end of cycle" for 5 seconds or more to clear the screen. Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

How can I fix the LED monitor so the cycles do not change mid cycle?

It sounds like a control problem. I assume it is electronic, and if so try another control board but be sure you can return it if it does not solve your problem.

Washing Machine stopped through cycle and now will not turn on

Check the wiring harness, connections, contacts, etc. Look for some corrosion and loose connections. Also, check the water inlet for anything that may cause a reduction in water flow.

Our FnP GW611 while filling the water stops and starts and after a short time it stops and beeps and the long wash and spin lights come on orange. Any ideas? Thanks

The problem can be determined through the Wash Progress LEDs. The specific lit LEDs combination indicates an specific error code that tells what generally the problem is. But the exact positions of the lit LEDs are necessary in determining the exact code. Refer to the illustration below and post back the code or the exact positions of the lit LEDs. You may Google for the error code once you determine it, like "Fisher and Paykel Fault Code 37".

Will not spin

Some of the Wash Progress LEDs flash when the machine stops due to a fault. The 8 Wash Progress LEDs stands for the binary digits and by indicating the digits, the fault code number is determined. The fault code can be shown by activating Diagnostic Mode if none of the Wash Progress LEDs are lit.

Turn machine OFF on the control panel then hold down the Water Temp Down button and press the POWER button until the machine gives 2 short beeps and lights up. Release buttons and you are in Diagnostic mode. Press the Spin Speed Up button 3 times until the Hold and Slow LEDs are lit. Write down the LEDs which are lit across the Wash Progress LEDs and post it back.
