Very tough dryer problem.. a kenmore/frigidaire mod#41784152500 has heat at start up and no heat after a couple minutes at all , checked everything on schematic but voltage suppressor and board control. voltage and or continuity check ok on the usual suspect parts. replaced thermistor the new one read 50k at store and never kicked in the heat at home except for first time. replace board and made no difference. put old thermistor back on and ran lots longer time cycled a little bit while drying too,but didnt hold out (hey i put it in freezer to cool it down and brought the ohms up to 58k!!!} the saftey limiter and temp thermo are checked right after heat cycle to insure they aint cuttin out. maybe got a 2nd bad thermistor or board? all outlets are apart or clear ...have good air flow... checked blower blade also any help is greatly appreciated ....dont know what else to do!

Check your "HI-LIMIT" switch on heating element, they can get defective

I had the same problem. Very tricking thermister. Most thermistor or temperature sensors start out in the 10k Ohm area. Fridgidare requires 50k. I had one that read 40k and it turned out bad. The board must recongnize the low voltage resistence of 50k in order to through the switch on the heater relay that is on the board. That sends the other leg of the 110 volt current to the heater

Electric Kenmore Dryer series 80 burn out the High Temp Thermo switch?

It sounds like you have already done a lot of troubleshooting with your dryer, and that it is not working properly even after replacing the High Temp Thermo switch multiple times. The best thing you can do now is to consult a service manual for your specific model of Kenmore dryer. This will give you detailed information on the specifications for each of the components in the heating circuit, including the recommended resistance readings for the heating element.
In general, a heating element should have continuity, meaning that there should be a low resistance path through the element that allows electricity to flow through it. The exact resistance reading will depend on the specifications for your particular model. If you don't have a service manual, you may be able to find one online or purchase one from a local appliance parts store.
It's also possible that there may be a problem with the electrical circuit that powers the heating element. In this case, it may be helpful to have a professional diagnose and repair the issue.

Kenmore dryer mod #110.66002010 is making strange noise after about 5 minutes of operation and gradually gets louder. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

Like the last guy said could be the rollers for the drum in the front, or the main shaft bearing in the back. This all starts after the dryer starts to heat up.

Turns on, no heat, stopas after about 5 mins and all lights start blinking.

Good Afternoon Amanda,

I understand that your Frigidaire Affinity dryer, model# FAQE7001LW, is not heating as well as only running about 5-7 minutes of the cycle before shutting off. There are a couple things to check.

1)The gas supply valve is not open. Check to make sure that the gas valve is open.
2)The dryer does not have enough air supply to support the burner flame. Check with your local gas company to make sure that your dryer is installed correctly.
3)There is a possibility that your LP gas supply tank is empty or there has been a utility interruption of natural gas. Try refilling or replacing the tank.
If you are still having trouble with your dryer, I suggest giving it a hard reset, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. When power is restored, start any cycle. If you are still noticing that there is no heat and it stops 5-7 minutes into the cycle, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this is helpful.

    -Best Regards-

Everything seems fine but will not heat up I checked continuity, on every thing and it seems fine and I did the more less more less and all codes came up fine took the heating element out and it seems fine...

First things first...Are you sure that you have 220 volts to the dryer? Just because the motor runs doesn't neccesarily mean you have the proper voltage. Also check the connections where the cord comes in to see if they are tight and intact.
