2)Press the arrowkeys untill 6 TIMER SETTINGS is displayed Press the OK KEY
3)Confirm that DATE TIME SETTING is displayed and press then the OK key
4)Change the date and time

How do I do a code reset for the imagerunner 1023if. I need to reset my IP address to a network IP address.

If you have the current ip go to internet explorer with pc, press ctrl and O a window will pop-up, type the address of the copier and press enter. This is the remote user interface, login as administrator and you can change settings from here.

1) on copier you have a button add. functions-something like *
2) with + or - trough the menu press OK at FAX sett. or under report sett.- If I recall its under Fax sett.
3) try to find report sett. then OK
4) you must enable the RX REPORT than OK


For transmision report you must enable TX REPORT

Press "Additional Functions" button. <common settings> should be displayed, if not press the "+" or "-" button until common settings is displayed. Press "ok". Press "+" or "-" button until "Audible Tones" is displayed. Press "ok". Walk through this submenu to locate the fax volume. Press "ok". Adjust as needed. Press ok. Press stop to exit settings mode.

First try to check your fax settings.Your 'line settings' has to be set to 'tone' and not "pulse".
Set your fax mode for "fax only"

And try again.

Press your user mode button(the one with the star)-press the arrow(the plus button) untill you get 8-report settings,press ok.Settings will apear on the screen,press ok.tx report will show on the screen press ok,use the arrow key to set it to"on"

Then you will receive the reports

I have a Canon ImageRunner 1023iF copier/FAX machine

Check view setting button to see if any jobs are pending if so you can clear them in there, try unpluging the machine for a few minutes if none of this work it could be the main board
