How do I re-align the shank on my Singer Quantum XL 6000?

The needle is too far to the left and often runs into the foot. I can no longer use a walking foot due to this problem. The needle just runs directly into the walking foot now. I would like to buy a repair manual on line. Does anyone have one for sale?

The needle position on your machine is controlled by the little icon that looks like a pointing hand.

Also if your needle has banged against the foot a few times... change it and toss the old one.

Repair manuals are not avaialbe to consumers. Is the walking foot the one that came with the machine or is it a generic? The original should work,if not the presser bar is out of line and there is so much stuff inside the head end module that it should be taken to an authorized service tech.

Singer 7033, presser foot is disconnected. How do I fix it?

If the presser foot isn't connected to the presser foot shank, place the foot under the center of the shank. Lower the presser foot lifter making sure that the shank goes over the presser foot pin. Press down firmly on the screw that holds the presser foot shank until you hear the foot snap into the shank. Do not turn the presser foot shank screw. See the pictures on page 9 of the manual (page 11 of the PDF). Manuals LIb has this page here https://www.manualslib.com/manual/470415/Singer-7033.html?page=11#manual . The manual is also available from Singer on their support page: https://www.singer.com/support . The direct link to the manual is https://www.singer.com/sites/default/files/product_manual/SINGER%207029_7033_%207035%20and%209410%20Sewing%20Machine.pdf . For feet that are attached to the slant shank, you loosen the presser foot shank screw. Place the shank over the presser foot screw and then tighten the screw to hold the presser foot. If you removed a foot and the shank together, put it back on. Make sure that the needle and the presser foot lifter are in their highest positions. Push up the front side (toe) of the presser foot until the foot snaps off the shank.

If the presser foot doesn't snap into place, make sure that you have everything aligned properly. Otherwise check for damage to the presser foot and the shank. Replace any damaged parts. Some presser feet are available here: https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/singer-7033-sewing-machine-parts.aspx .

I hope this helps.

Singer Quantum XL-1 the needle strikes the left side of the presser foot/needle plate in the zig-zag mode. How do I correct it. I have a new needle.

have you got the correct plate installed for zigzag sewing
it is the needle that jumps side to side and if you are using a single hole plate that will cause the problem

Do you have a foot pedal for Singer 2210?

Your foot pedal works on several models of high-end machines, including a Bernina. Unfortunately, while you can easily purchase a replacement at several sites, it's pricey. However, I took a look on eBay, and there's one for sale there for $50, which is much better than $149, which is the list price. Here's the link

How do you get the auto threading and wind in place to work on Singer XL6000 sewing machine

There are several FB and Yahoo groups dedicated to the Quantum XL-1000, XL-5000 and XL-6000 who can help you. It may be that your problem with the autothreading is the autothreader is out of adjustment, but I'm at a loss as to the bobbin winder problem.

I have a suggestion that may sound a bit over the top, Singer is no longer an independent company, it seems that Elna has bought or merged with Singer. Elna has a machine called the Xquisit and it is the identical machine to the Singer XL 6000, I have given lessons on the Elna machine by using my Singer to show what to do. You might contact Elna and see if there is someone to help with your problem or contact several service centers to see if they have any dead Singers and therefore orphaned embroidery units. Just a suggestion.
