Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
I beleive that your Microwave has a 1 year warranty. Since you did not provide a model number I can not verify that. Having said that you should visit the Samsung website and make sure your Microwave is registered using the link below before calling for warranty service other wise they will refuse the warranty service request.
REGISTRATION
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/account/regist
SERVICE LOCATOR
and then use this link to find out who can service it for you.
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location

You can call them at: 1-800-726-7864 and find out also. (
I think the internal fuse has failed but.. if it is infact "in warranty" Let the service provider do it for you for free. I did in home warranty service for 40 years and you have to go through the hassle of making the call and getting an authorization number.

If it is not in warranty I am certain that Sears can service it for you.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

I bought a refrigerator at Home Depot in 2009. It has been used for approximately 14months. The model number is MCBR1010W. There is a fan inside the freezer that is making a loud noise. The nosie can be...

Darlene, First find out about warranty. If it is out of warranty, the fan is not terribly difficult to access. The likely causes are ice build ups or alignment issues. In either case, once you get in there, you should be able to see what is needed to fix it. Replacement is easy, once access is available.

I need to fin out the fuse size and number for a Emerson Microwave Oven-Model MV8998B

Without a manual your best bet is to remove the old fuse and look for the rating stamped on it. You can find a replacement at a Radio Shack or home improvement like Lowe's Home Depot or Value Home Center.

Above Range GE Microwave not heating

Try disconnecting the power line from the microwave ad then reinstalling it after a few minutes.. then try heating up a small cup of water.. allow 1.5 minutes on high power. it should get very hot or boil.. if it doesn't get warm or hot then you may have a bad magnetron ( the tube that produces the microwave energy that causes things to heat up or a bad filament transformer that is required for the magnetron to work.In either case, if it fails to heat anything, I would go back to home depot and insist they send someone out to address the problem. many of their appliances come with a one year warranty but you might want to call the store and ask someone there about normal applaince coverage ( less extended warranty) and what they normally offer. An inquiry costs nothing..

Hope this helps..

I need paperwork that can prove where and when I purchased my microwave oven as I cannot find the receipt. Do you have records that have this information. Mary W. Slavin, 205 Plaza Drive, Daleville, AL...

Did you contact that Home Depot? They may provide a copy.

Did you pay with a credit card? Your credit card company may provide a copy or may even cover it with an extra warranty.

Most manufacturers will allow you to sign an affidavit affirming that you purchased it on the date you say, then they will grant you warranty coverage based on that.

Some manufacturers may use the serial number or date code to prove warranty status. I know for a fact that GE will.

GE Customer Service is here.

Your State may have laws that give you rights like this. If all else fails, you could contact the Alabama Attorney General's office.

Good luck.

So the folks at Home Depot didn't run into the back room and get you the unit's box, manuals, and install kit, etc.?

Shame on them. I'd call them.

Otherwise, for Goldstar / LG / L.G. help, call 1-800-243-0000 (M-F, 7am-8pm CT, Sat 8-5 CT) and choose the appropriate prompt from the menu or visit here to buy the installation items you need.

Have a ge spacemaker microwave and the buttons just stopped working last week. The screen only says "press clock". It is not a year old. Bought at home depot and lost original paper work.

The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a minute, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

If it's less than a year old, it's still under warranty, and they can tell by the serial number & date on the label that it's sunder warranty.

I would contact GE to get it fixed free. GE Customer Service is here.
