My creative zen 4gb player,when switched on the screen appears to be white

If you need to reset your device everytime you turn it on, it might be a firmware problem or device problem. You may want to try reloading or upgrading the firmware of your player. However, there are risk when you perform the upgrade. It might not work completely if it is not properly done.

For specific firmware upgrade instructions, please refer to the firmware released posted at or follow the instructions on the screen.

Hope it helps!

No Resource Upgrade resource agan

ok, so u formatted your player, hence the green screen. So now all you have to do is download the firmware(match your player, sl with sl firmware, etc) then extract w/ winrar, u get 2 files so put them both in root folder (displaying music, video, etc) unplug turn off, on it will update then wait few min till it turns off, then turn on and ur player will work.

Sounds like the firmware is corrupt.

Install (if you haven't already) and run the Device Manager or Firmware Upgrade (dependant on model) software from the product CD.

Connect the player to the PC and follow the on-screen prompts.

If this doesn't help let me know the model number for more assistance. Should be PSA{XXX}
