is there a way 2 restart your toshiba sp6100 laptop with out the use of system restor

i assume you are asking for a restart when your computer is stuck and you cat do a normal restart.
In such event keep power key (that you use to start the laptop) pressed for few seconds. that will force shutdown it. then you can restart the pc like normal.
