Type in Understanding Sony Blinking codes it will tell you how to go into self diagnostic mode.most of the time it will let you know what needs to be replaced.

Blue picture tube (CRT/ Gun) in TV sounds bad and will be replaced to solve that problem.
TV is an old model so I do not think blue picture tube would available any where so better option is to buy another TV.
