My best sugestion would be to make sure the wires are fine and then check the ports in your tv to make sure that they are not damaged. In the end you might just have to get a new av cables for your xbox 360

Testimonial: "thanks ive checked them all like 5 times looks like my step brother is gna have to buy sum more cables "

How do I get a picture on screen? Get only sound. I switch TV on and only get sound, but no picture.

  1. Have the TV be unplugged for overnight and then plug your TV back in and sometimes it might work and fix the problem .
  2. Unplugging your TV and everything hooked and plugged into it and then plugging it back again in may clear up the problem.
  3. Make sure that the TV is set to the correct input.

I have audio but no video whyen a disc is

Turn off all devices in the video chain, INCLUDING your Xbox.
Unplug and re-plug ALL connectors, making certain that they all go in all the way.
Turn on everything.
If that does not fix it, then something is busted.
Remove anything between the TV and the Xbox and try it again.
If that does not work, either the TV or the Xbox is busted.
Try hooking up a DVD player to the SAME EXACT TV input.
If that works, your Xbox is busted, go buy a new one.
If that fails, go buy a new TV or try using another input on that TV.

I plugged in the prongs correctly for my xbox 360 and i went to channel three on the tv and pressed input. But nothing happened

it did that to me one time, unplug everything, plug everything back in and be sure its plugged into the xbox really good. if it continues, the check it on another t.v. because it may need to be repaired

Cannot get the television to get out of fuzzy screen

  • hit the channel return button on the remote
  • hit the tv/video button on the remote
  • perform a channel scan through the remote menu
  • unplug unit for over an hour and plug back in, complete initial setup by following instruction on the tv.

Onkyo TX-SR605 conected to Mitsubishi DLP TV

What I think I did and how I fixed it!

FACTORY RESET ON EVERYTHING!

All you have to do is to do a factory reset on everything, but I thing mostly on your 605, but I would do it on the TV as well. I think what had happened is after I set everything up for the first time, it worked great. As the days when on I started to play with all of the futures the 605 and the TV had to offer. I was turning them on and off to see what everything did. What I think I did was, I turned on something in the 605 that the TV did not know how to cope with. If I had to guess, I think it is the Lip-sink feature (Spelling?) in the 605.

Anyway disconnect everything, look in your manuals of the TV and the 605 to see how to do the factory reset on both. Then turn your TV on. After it does it’s start up for the first time (again), start connecting the 605.

It has been working great for me after I did this. Do not count on help from the people you bought it from or the people who made it. This stuff is so new they do not really know how to fix it.
