Question about HP PhotoSmart 7960 InkJet Printer
This is a widespread problem do a google caused by the printer not printing exactly what the monitor is displaying.when using glossy or photo paper. if you know what you are doing with color management then have a play. my solution? i used photoshop to adjust the color balance of my pic to bias towards cyan from green and away from blue and save as a copy and the image looks slightly too red on the monitor. but it prints out exactly as the master image.
not a proper solution but i havent seen any other on the net so far.

A person on another site said that a similar problem was caused bya faulty print head on his 7960.

In the printer settings choose the type of paper, card, or the various photo papers that are listed. This must be selected to get the best quality for each project you are doing weather it is just normal text or quality photos, the both require different print settings. Usually by using the automatic setting does handle most settings but dont bank on it.
