Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

Wharfedale DV832B Hello there, Please can you help, our freeview box works great except for the fact that twice per day, at 11.00am and approx 15.00pm the box switches itself off, ie clock and everything goes off and interupts viewing for approx 20 to 30 seconds. Is this common or a fault on our box.It is not a case of the mains power going off as all tv etc stay on. Any ideas please, Thanks Barrie Tait taitsb@yahoo.co.uk 07913924024

Hi! I have the same problem but later at night (no particular time) and only for about 5 seconds. Plus it doesn't happen every night. I think it's the Freeview signal, not the top box

Hello
Just get into the Wharfedale site and upgrade it with latest software available, that suit to your DVD-M3. It will take some time, say about an Hour to complete the donload and installation. Don't stop as download stops, the softwre must be installed, and it will happen only after the full download. After sucessfull download, the set will propt you that has done sucessfully. Till then, never switch off the net connection, or do nothing at set end. If installation is not successful, the fault you describe here will occur. OK.

Wharfedale DVDRHD400 Set up Issue

Hi I had the same problem. The answer is to use a scart lead on the freeview box and connect it to the input/output scart on the DVD. Then connect a scart lead from the TV out on the DVD to the TV. You then press Video source on the DVD remote until 'scart' is displayed to pick the freeview channels. Hope that helps
