Whirlpool ED25PWXAW01 Refrigerator warm/Freezer side freezing up

The Whirlpool ED0GTQXMQ Side by Side problem sounds very similar to what i am experiencing could the solution be the same? The sensor has been replaced. The sensor keeps clicking on sending the message to defrost but its not doing it. What should I get replaced or procedure(s) to correct this problem?

Are you able to find the defrost timer? If so manually advance it with a screwdriver or something similar, and see what happens. Let me know.

Question one.... is there frost on the back wall ???? If yes then you most likley have a defrost problem.

If No ..... Make sure your fan is working in the freezer ((( this is called the evaperator fan motor )))) Open freezer door and listen for fan motor sound ((( if you have a light switch for the door press it in and listen )))) No sound 75% chance fan is bad.

One of these sound like your problem. Should be under $200 to fix

It sounds as if you have a defective compressor start relay.  It is located on the side of the compressor, usually contained within a black plastic housing (box).  If ordered, it will most likely come with an overload proctector.  Change both parts.
