Question about Coby DVD-207 Portable DVD Player
No matter what disc I try to play it will attempt to load then display "wrong disc. I have try dirty to clean to new DVD- and + R as well as CD-R. How can I possibly remedy the discrepancy.
My coby dvd player have no sound alone but have sound with headset how can i get it to work with just the volume i have dvd 73337tft

I have found several of these that have had that problem and the ones i repaired had the same problem the power had failed to the laser eye. it was a different fix for each but that was the basic answer you can take it apart if its not under warrenty and look at the power board look for burnt resistors they turn black, or darker brown spots on the board. one did have the motor that controlled the eye bad the eye would not move.

Disc has been
loaded upside down. Place the disc with the label side up.
code does not match region code of the player.
Disc type is
not the correct type to play.
damaged or dirty. Clean the disc or try another.
be condensed inside the unit. Remove the disc and the leave the
power on for one or two hours.
See the diagram attached.and if the problem persist. Lube the plastic parts with small grease or vaseline very carefully
