What is the correct picture setting for a vizio smart tv model E322AR?

Contrast = 60 to 80%.
Brightness = 40 to 55%
Color = according to personal viewing taste.
Sharpness = 15 to 20%
The best way to tune to a perfect picture is, set the color to Zero first. Without any colour, increase the contrast to at about 65%. Adjust the brightness to get a perfect picture in B/W. Then increase the color, according to your viewing taste. Compare the skin tone of a person. That's all.

Contrast really dark but seems to improve after the tv has been on several hours

Hi:
You may have a problem with the inverters in the unit, they are responsible for lighting up the back panel. Check or have checked the power supply voltage to the inverters, should be around 18-24 volts DC. Also leaky capacitors on the power supply will cause this issue as well as leaky or puffy capacitors on the inverter.

Is there a way to access the tint function on the Apex4088? It is not accessable when we go into the picture setup menu. It appears to be locked.

Hello

The Tint function can be accesed by the following steps.

The PICTURE menu offers options to enhance and refine the picture displayed on your TV based on ambient room light and personal preferences. Adjustment options include contrast, brightness, color, sharpness and color temperature

Press the MENU button on the remote control. Navigate using t u arrow buttons to select PICTURE. Press the down q arrow button to highlight PICTURE MODE, then press the u arrow button to select your viewing preference from 4 factory options:
STANDARD > DYNAMIC > MOVIE > PERSONAL. The STANDARD setting is recommended for most viewing environments. Depending on the ambient light level in the room, you may find one of the other options more pleasing.

To make more critical adjustments based on your own preferences in PERSONAL:

• Use down q arrow button to highlight Contrast. Navigate using the
t u arrow buttons to increase or decrease contrast intensity.
• Use down q arrow button to highlight Brightness. Navigate using the t u arrow buttons to increase or decrease overall brightness.
• Use down q arrow button to highlight Color. Navigate using the
t u arrow buttons to increase or decrease color intensity.
• Use down q arrow button to highlight Tint. Navigate using the
t u arrow buttons to adjust colors toward green or reddish tint.
• Use down q arrow button to highlight Sharpness. Navigate using the t u arrow buttons to soften or view crisper edges in the picture.
• Use down q arrow button to highlight Color Temperature. Navigate using the t u arrow buttons to select COOL (more bluish tone), NORMAL or WARM. The default setting is NORMAL. WARM mode will provide color that is calibrated to D6500° Kelvin, the standard color that broadcast stations and the Motion Picture industry consider as the most accurate to view programming.
Note: When adjustments are completed, you may select another menu by pressing the Menu button.

Color

see if there is a "default" option, if not set everything back to the middle, if the colors are still off you sure its not the convergence?
most big screens allow you to change "color temperature" it's like a default adjustment for 3 different brightness levels.... ie...COOL, WARM picture will show obvious changes in brightness

A lot of green tint in the picture

Hi, what you do is unscrew and take off the grill, take off the black board behind it. You will see a little box for adjusting RGB you will adjust the screen rgb to get the tint to go away and have a perfect color then you will adjust the focus for sharpness. (reset the tv to factory settings before doing this so that your tint, color, brightness and everything else is in the middle.
