Hi there, just got that progresive problem gone :D
- Startup ur DVD (ON)
- Wait until Loading - No Disc (status on DVD display)
- In here, ur screen still blank (black screen)

And here's how:
- Press "Home Menu" button
on ur DVD (it should be on the down left of the circle button)
-- Watch out, the screen still in blank, just feel it right ok?

- Down 2x -- Initial Setting
- Menu / Ok (the circle button)

- Down -- Video Out
- Menu / Ok

- Down -- Component Out
- Menu / Ok

- Down -- It will choose Interlace, it will saved the day :-)
- Menu / Ok

That's it.. Cheers mate ^^
Give me a mail if u still have the problem, coz I Know how it sucks.

On the DV-366 turn the unit off. Hold the stop button on the front face and turn the unit back on and presto, you have set your player back to the factory setting and you may follow your set up screen.

Hi Arafel,
I think the video setting of your DVD already been changed. If I am not wrong the video output is changed from interlace to progresive. What you have to do is borrowing the same Pioneer DVD 366 or other type (must be pioneer also). Just press menu then choose video setting. Highlight sub menu which states words interlace / progresive. Choose interlace.
Do the same steps to your own DVD.

I am getting sound from the DVD but no picture. I

I've fought with this for a while and finally figured it out. I recall another piece of hardware that would perform some sort of auto reset when it was unplugged so I tried it and it worked! I don't mean just hitting the power button, I mean crawling down on your hands and knees to follow the power cord from the back of the dvd player to the wall/power strip. Unplug it, wait a few seconds and plug it back in. BAM! All fixed.

Shut down of laptop after blue screen appears

When you hit F12 or whatever F key to go to the boot drive menu, make sure the cd is in and that you select CD/DVD Drive and the dvd should prompt you to hit any key or will automatically start loading for the recovery. Just tell me if you need further assistance.

Good Day, WADE N;

Some Models will shut down when no signal is detected.
Try unplugging the TV from wall/power source for 3 to 5 minutes.... plug back. Same thing? Go into OPTION MENU, press 'MENU' button on the remote > enter 1270. Choose reset system. If not there go to the SERVICE MENU, press "MENU > 1257 (same thing).
CAUTION: before you change any settings, document them (write down).

Good Luck, big IRISH.

Make sure that you connect all of these connections to the right colored cables.

It seems like you only have the green cable connected. Go back and connect the red and blue for both the tv and dvd.

It sounds to me without knowing the model or type unit that you may need to unplug tv AND take batteries out of remote for a few seconds, replug and start over. Hope it helps
