Ice maker stoped working ,onn a General Electric Frig. model # GSS25LGMA any advice would be appriciated .Thanks
The problem is most likely the water control valve on the rear of your refrigerator. You can test the ice maker by filling with water and let freeze. If ice dumps then the water valve must be replaced. Your model has 3 different choices of water control valves. If the ice maker does nothing but freeze the water and not cycle or dump the ice then I would say the thermostat inside the ice maker is defective. Thanks, Sea Breeze
Testimonial: "Tryed what you said to test ice maker ,ice did not drop out.Can you tell me what part # i need for the thermostat in the ice maker?.....Thank you."
Thanks for the great rate! I just wish I had more people out there like you, Thanks Again Sea Breeze
Sorry I came back late for the answer to your question. I looked for parts with 3 different companies and noone sells the parts for your ice maker. I'm not sure but the front section may have an electronic control board. The part number is WR30X10093
You may go to anyone you like or go through Point and Click or Repair Clinic. Sorry that is like that after a nice rate. Here are my sites. Thanks, Again Sea Breeze [email protected]
