I could not find any page or article that associated your product with the word wireless or wifi, so I would have to assume that this is not the case (ie your machine cannot communicate wirelessly). Thank you.

thats because its a windows disk. let alone that its from windows 95/98 which is COMPLETELY incompatable with a macbook pro. unless you actually know what youre doing windows .exe files do not run on mac os

Well the disk actually works on most standard CD-ROMS.

If its cd-rom that is used in laptops (extremely thin) it should also work but you can always find a computer with one of these trays and then copy the contents.

If you're worried, put the small CD-ROM into some other computer, and copy the entire contents to a full-size CD-recordable disk (or to a USB memory-stick).

Then, carry the CD-R (or the memory-stick) to your computer.

Acer CD is not getting ejeccted

The mechanism is physicall jammed.
Take a Norwegian paper-clip, and straighten one end.
Push that end into the small hole in the faceplate of the CD-drive.
Push until you feel resistance, and then push another 1/4 inch (10 mm).
The door should "unlock" -- gently pull the tray the rest of the way open, and remove any disk.
Then, it's time to spend $40, to buy a new CD/DVD reader/writer.]

My cd dvd-rom can't read cd's or burn cd's

If it is working correctly, it should read both CD and DVD disks.

If you have a "combo" drive (DVD-reader and CD reader/writer), it should burn CD disks.

If it is not working correctly, spend $40 to buy a replacement CD/DVD reader/writer.

Disk to load the program does not work

Could it be a DVD disk, while you only have a CD reader (or CD reader/writer) ?

Take a USB memory-stick and the CD-ROM to a friend's computer, and copy all the files from the CD-ROM to the memory-stick. Then, connect the memory-stick to your computer, and install from that device.

I need the driver installation for my reader/writer d-card

Drivers are on the installation disk. 3D will have it on cd#1 and 4D on the dvd. With the disk in the drive, plug the dCard reader/writer in and use the "add new hardware" wizard to allow the drivers to install automatically. Now,either repeat this for each usb port or remember to always plug in to the same port.

IT WILL STILL WORK!

Yeah, if you just plug it into the computer and insert a card, the drive pops up on your screen. The CD is not required (thank God) and it WILL GET STUCK, so don't try to insert it. (I did...took me 15 minutes and some very small tweezers to get the stupid thing out!)

CD & SD Card stuck in Asus Pro31F notebook

gant really help on the sd prob.sd usually push in to insert and push in again to remove.
cant imagine how you can get cd stuck between rom and chassis.anyway if you look closely at your rom you will see a small hole.you push a thin piece of wire into this to eject the rom hopefully giving you more room to play with and remove disk.a paperclip made straight is an ideal tool for this.
as for repair;tell me your model and i'll check to see if I have it

Point 1. Never stick a non-standard CD in a slot loader of any brand. Point 2. You have a mac. Drivers are not needed.
In fact, If you manage to get the cd out, you'll see that it is marked for windows.

Just a follow-up. In all the years that card and card-readers have been around, I've never come across one that didn't work on a mac just by plugging it in - note though that you will not see anything until you actually put a card in it.

You had better remove it from inside the drive first I think. these small CDs do infact run in what appears to be a big CD drive. they need to be positioned in the exact center of the moulded guide that takes the Normal CD/DVD.
As for downloading the software, it is probable that it can be but as the brand was not included in the description i can only suggest you search for it via google.
