The batteries in my DSC H1 camera only last about 10 % as long as they used to. New batteries don't solve the problem. Can the camera be fixed? Larry

I would suggest trying a different type of battery. If you're using AA batteries, often alkaline ones don't work. Try lithium or even rechargable AAs. If it's a rechargable lithium type (a square battery) try charging the battery fully and then using it completely to refresh the lithium cells. Try cleaning the contacts (silver pieces where the battery touches the camera) with a soft cloth as they can easily get corroded. Generally battery failure is not to do with the camera itself.

I have a sony cibershto 1080 model DSC-W200 and won't turn on I charged the battery but nothing. what can I do

I'm sorry that the camera is not turning ON. Please make sure that the battery is fully charged. Check if you are able to access the Menu. If yes, then, please Initialize the camera under Main settings 1 Menu. If you are not able to access the menu, you may have to power reset the camera by removing the battery and press n hold the power button for 1 minute continuously. After that leave the button and insert the battery and check if it helps. If the issue still persists, your camera will require service.

Loosing power randomly

how old are the batteries and how many times they were charged without being fully drained can cause a short life for the battery. Try a new battery-fully charging it properly, but dont charge it again till it goes off by itself completely. If you have a wall charger, plug your phone in. If it stays on that way, check your 'power save' settings. That can also make your camera shut off. Try these steps first and see if it changes the 'battery' from being empty to full and stays on. hope this helps

Sony dsc-s600 lens stuck out and no power.power button seems to be too low.

Its not a problem. Just replace the drained out batteries with the fully charged batteries and press the power button once again. The camera would shut itself down.

Recharge of flash

Sony H1 camera has a delay to recharge the flash and I hope that you know that as you are using it for the last three years. If the time delay is a new issue check the MAH of the battery to ensure that it will be above 2200 at least. If the MAH is below 2200 it is natural that the time delay will be more to recharge the flash. If my solution proves good please rate it. Regards.
