Question about Canon PowerShot A530 Digital Camera
My camera was working just fine on the one of the biggest trips of my life. We were out west, Colorado, Grand Canyon, etc., and it was working great. Then on day 4 of the trip, all of our pictures we had taken so far had been mysteriously erased from the SD card. The card was fine, we checked it in other cameras. From that day on, we have not been able to take pictures with our camera. When you press the button to take the picture, it doesn't even focus or do anything at all. You can hold the button down, and nothing ever happens. We ended up buying a whole new camera (not a Canon this time), but we'd still like to be able to fix this one.
This is the problem with this unit. you need to press it half-way to set the auto-focus and after you hear a beep then its ready to go. this thing usually happen when the battery goes down low. even though the charge battery warning is still not shown. Remember that is only uses 2 double AA battery unlike most of the unit of the same size which has 4 double AA.
