Replacing Control Board on Frigidaire model LEQ1442ES0 Dryer

I've determined that I need to replace the control board on my Frigidaire model LEQ1442ES0 Dryer. How do I go about physically removing the upper front panel so as to have access to the control board? (I don't see any screws and I'm reluctant to just start prying it off.) Thank you.

There should be screws on the back side of the top panel that come out. Then the panel will slide out so that you can access the front controls.

What does area Error code E-05 mean on a Frigidaire front load dryer model # AEQ6000ES2

model aeq6000es2: the "e05" error code normally indicates that control board may need to be replaced or a stuck relay on the control panel. you can reset the unit by unplugging the dryer power cord for 5 minutes and then reapplying the power. if the problem persists then the control board or the control panel may need to be at fault.

How much is a control board for a fridaire affinity dryer?

Hello Friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

I see that you would like to know the pricing of a replacement control board for your Frigidaire dryer. May I please have your model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located on upper front as you open the door. With this information I can better address the issue at hand.

In the meantime, error code E66 is associated with the heating element relay. A technician would typically check the ohm resistance of the relay to determine if it is the cause of the error code. If the readings are incorrect, the heating element more than likely needs replacing. If the readings are incorrect, it could potentially be the main control board. This is not a normal DIY job so you may want to connect with a local technician to determine the exact diagnosis. I hope this helps! - Z

Frigidaire dryer model LEQ1442ES0 beeps then shuts off after about 10 seconds. Four lights blink 3 times. Error code for?

Hi Robert, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

Constant beeping is often an indication of a possible malfunction. Let's try reprogramming the dryer by either flipping the household circuit breaker off or unplugging it. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the dryer on. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, your appliance could be experiencing a communication error from the main control board, a potential wiring failure, faulty door lock assembly or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. This is not a normal DIY job so you may want to connect with a local servicer to determine the exact diagnosis.

Frigidaire electric dryer

I was unable to locate a similar complaint through my service database, so this is going to be a hit or a miss answer.
This model has an electronic control board in it and it is possibly picking up a static discharge from your body and powering up the start relay. This may be due to improper grounding or a recent power issue. This type of failure apparently does not happen with a 240 volt appliance often enough to be in the books. I might suggest that you unplug the dryer for 10 minutes, then plug it back in to see if it corrects the problem. If not, you will want to have your outlet inspected by an electrician. You may also have to replace the control board, if the electrician finds the outlet satisfactory. You may also just want to consult a factory authorized servicer that would be capable of checking the outlet AND testing the board before replacing it.

Thank you,
