Question about Philips 60P8341 60" Rear Projection Television
My phillips is loosing it's volume. I have a blury green vision screen. when i try to turn it off it takes a few seconds before it acutually turns off but then it turns back on. When i try to chang the channels it goes blank and the power light lifgt stays on.
An all too common problem with that unit is the Ssb or (small signal board, Philips p/n# PH3912725871 located just behind the tuner. It's actually a simple fix for a shop, what we call a plug & play repair but the part isn't so cheap. Last one I did thursday I bought from Vance Baldwin $267.82 plus shipping and core. You get the core back when you return the old part.
You might call a few shops like you know what you're doing and ask what they charge for changing the Ssb in your unit.
Have a great day!
