  • Anonymous Dec 29, 2007

I have the Motoral V3m and Verizon as a service provider. I bought the Motorola Phone tools software so I could get the pictures off my phone and and it doesn't work, like someone already said. If you do want to try it though, buy it through ebay for like $10.00. If I find another way, I'll let you know.

Yes - I have two verizon phones - neither one is accessible by the phone tools softwares I bought - even though the software specifically says it works with verizon. I wasted my money!

You need motorola phonetools to do this. it is a computer program on CD sold by carriers and motorola for around 20 bucks i think. It allows you to take pictures off the phone, put pictures and ringtones on it and even edit the phonebook and contacts. It is very useful and is worth the money. I make my own ringtones and walpaper with it so i dont have to buy them from my carrier. As long as the cable you have connects from the phone to the PC, you can use that cable. They sell the disk with or without the cable.

Exercise care before springing for phone tools software. I had an old Motorola V3c model supported by Verizon, many of the more useful tools in phone tools is disabled on Verizon system phones and is unavailable. I manually loaded drivers from the phone tools software for a Motorola V3cm from a device list while installing the software or afterwards by using the install new device option from the software after installation. This approach worked fine and everything worked fine. "HOWEVER" I recently traded in my old phone and got a new V3_m model, apparently the ID is built into the phone and the old procedure no longer works, even though i used the same approach, the software detects the actual phone and disables the multimedia studio and most of the more appealing functions. Thanks Verizon your money grubbing, penny pinching greed shines light a roman candle on a dark night, their tech support suggest I email the pictures back and forth from my phone to my computer, great!!! I cant wait to shove 50 cents a pic in Verizons already bulging pockets. If any body has a crack I'd like to know it, as far as I'm concerned they have no right to disable any of my hardware.

Hi outhewindow

Once the Software supplied with your phone is installed it should pick up your phone immediately.

If it doesn't , try re-installing the software. Also make sure that your USB port on your PC is in working order.

Download the photos and movies

you actually don't need any special software to copy, or move files from your phone to your pc. You can just connect your phone and pc by cable or USB and move or copy as you like.

I use the above mentioned method, it works best for me.

You can download Motorola PC Suit for free at the link below if you want to use it for your data transfer.

Kind regards

on motorola cells usb problems are very often... i suggest you to buy a thing called card reader. card reader is very small (2x1) device; you put your cells memory card into it and connetc the reader to your computer. it's like usb, but just you transfer your files directly to your memory card.

I Want do download of the photos .

Here is a link to a driver download that should get your Razr connected to the PC, it should show up as a removable drive in your My Computer section. Just browse the folders to find your pics then copy and paste them to your My Documents folder and your all set.

Cut and paste this link into your bvrowser and there is a green download button, save to your desktop and run the application.

Hope this helps

Download photo using usb cable wire

if you are using the razr v3 then it is most likely not possible. but you may try using the motorola sync software. if you are using the v3xx then leave the phone open and move all photos to the micro sd card. after that connect to the pc or mac and open the memory card's drive to pull the photos from there. i really hope this helps you! if it doesnt work, ask me directly from my profile.
