Need help..pls I am using my canon printer/ ip 6000d memory card reader for my Nokia 6230 memory card...the card and file was being read but the problem is that i cant delete or change the file on it..because it's write protected.

Some memory cards have a tiny write-protect switch on the side of the memory card. If so, try changing it.

If someone has used the Set Password function on it, and no one remembers that password, then you are out of luck.

for unlocking memory card : 1. Insert the Micro SD card into your card reader on your computer. Right-click your Start button and then click Explore. Find the Micro SD card, it will be listed as a removable disk.
2. Click on the microSD card and files appear on the right. Locate the file MMCSTORE and then choose Copy.
3. Click directly on your desktop, then click Paste. This will move the MMCSTORE file on the desktop, so you have edit access.
4. Right-Click on the MMCSTORE then click Open With. Open the file with Notepad.
5. Read the text for the password. It will be in plain text.
6. Remove the SD card from the computer and insert it into the device, which it used as a warehouse. Turn on the camera. When he asks for a password, enter it.

Problem with the pictures taken


Are you trying to read the card with the camera connected to the computer using a USB cable? If so, try using a separate card reader.

your card may need to be formatted for use in the phone. The phone supports FAT32 file system go to Menu - Tools/Setting - MemoryCard - Options - Format Mem Card and click YES

WARNING: Back up you card on your computer first because formatting you will lose your contents

I have nokia 3110c my music player is not open and play the songs . can please tell me how to rectify the problem and pls tell me how to format my phone


Hi...

This issue occurs if the Files were in Read Only mode.

Please connect the Memory card to computer through data cabled or Memory Card Reader.

Select Music Files Folder Right click on it and Uncheck Hidden and Read Only then select Archive. Click on Apply and OK.

Now insert Memory Card then try to play if your issue should resolve.

Please answer below if this issue still persists.
Music file type either MP3 or any and its size.

Password recovery


THIS WILL MAKE YOU LOOSE ALL FILES!!!
(even password)
Take the memorycard out of the phone and,
put it in a computer.Use filesystem FAT-32
to reformat your memorycard.
Now the card will work again!
No password, No files will be left after a
complete reformat

hi this is karthik i'm having 2 GB micro sd memory card.some one has locked that memory card.i having important data in my memory card.i have tried thru card readers but its not opening.is ther any sollution to unlock this card with out losing the data in memory card ......pls help me ..pls send me how to un lock my microsd.

Nokia 6230 insert sim error


Insert sim error could be a problem with the sim card contacts, check if the sim card is locked properly and connections are all clean.
