Problem for HP Compaq Presario SR1920NX PC Desktop

Won't turn on

My SR1920NX won't start. I have tried to unplugging and re-plugging, but that has not helped. The green light on the on/off switch turns on for a second and then turns off immediately, not allowing the computer to turn on. What can I do or do I need to replace any parts in the computer?

I would recommend testing the power supply. Sounds like it's pretty much gone. Have you ever done any maintenance to the computer, i.e cleaning out the case? At this point if you are unfamiliar with how to diagnose and repair computers, call a local computer repair company. Best Buy isn't always your best buy ;)
