LG W2361V, bought last week. Can not turn it off.

LG W2361V, bought last week. Can not turn it off. It will go into power save and I can restart it just not turn it off.

As long as this monitor is plugged in to the electric socket and the video card it will not turn off but only go to standby. I have this same monitor myself and thats all i can get it to do. Ive even tried adjusting my advanced power settings in windows AND linux.
