Question about GPX MW3837 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Downloading from CDs

I have been using Media Player to copy my CDs to my PC and then copy from the PC to my GPX MW3837. Everything just copies as Track 1, 2, 3, etc., so I don't know what it is once it is on the MP3.

Please tell me how to label what is being copied onto the MP3.

Re: Downloading from CDs

Not sure what OS you have or what version Media Player you're using - If you have Windows XP and Media Player 10, you need to make sure you have the MW3837 set to "MTP" and not "USB".

I cannot find my instructions on how to download music. Please Help!

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

I cannot get windows xp media player to load anything to my GPX.

I have a gpx mw3847 and I load songs by opening up My Computer, finding my gpx mw3847 and opening it. Then I go to MY Music where I have my MP3 songs and just drag or copy the ones I want over to my Player. I don't use Windows media player to load songs no any of my players
