The mirror is located right behind the screen. If the mirror is not damaged, the problem is more serious. If the mirror is damaged, you can have a new mirror cut to the necessary measurements (measure it) at a local glass shop.

I was using screen mirroring with my iPad and my Samsung TV. When I hit the stop screen mirroring button, It won’t let me go back to television. How can I start watching my cable again?

Change your TV source back to the HDMI connection that your cable box is attached to rather than the connection you were using for your laptop. Your Samsung remote has a source button right in the center or at the top.

Picture is distorted on my Samsung rear projection TV. A technician from Samsung (spoke to her on the phone) said the mirrors were out of adjustment.

try to use the settings from your remote control or the front panel. it must have the adjustment for it like contrast, brightness, etc..

No, I don't know of one. The service manual might or training manual but you would probably need to buy that.

I've never done one on a Samsung. Do you actually need to change it or just wondering?

7928390.jpgHi this is the DMD mirror (digital mirror display) that is missing the pixels on your picture. It is a difficult job if you have never changed one before. It is located in the DMD board that is attached to the light engine. You must take the DMD board off and then take it apart to get to the mirror. Take the mirror out of the bracket it is in and then replace it and put everything back together again correctly for it to work again. I would recommend a tech to do this.
