Question about Sony KV-32FS13 TV
MY six year old Sony TV will turns on, though has no picture, no sound, and shuts itself off after a couple of seconds. While the tv is on, there is a high pitched, soft, intermittent noise, almost as if something is trying to spin up. The standby light blinks four times.
In the past couple of days, the TV would be on for a while (half hourish), then turn itself off. After unplugging for a minute and replugging, the set worked. This no longer works.
It has been a great set, and I don't feel like it has lived out it expected life! Is it worth fixing? Is it fixable by a fairly tech savey novice?
Thanks for your insight.
