Hi, I bought recently a new 5.1 Surround Sound System Logitech X-530 and want to connect it to our new LCD LG 32LD450 HD TV. The LG TV has apart from all Digital, Optical and RCA Connections as well one...

You can't connect the speakers to your TV. I doesn't have any audio output available, just inputs. Those are for connecting the audio from sources like DVD players, and they go in to the TV's sound system. But there's no way of getting the sound out except through the set's internal speakers. The surround system you got is great for a computer, but it's not what you need for TV use.

The only solution I can offer is the suggestion that you invest in a home theater receiver. You can get decent basic systems with the receiver (often with DVD/audio CD playback capability built in) and surround speakers at reasonable prices. Then you use that to drive the speakers, and use the TV just as a video monitor. Then you will have surround sound.

I purchased a new desktop PC with Windows 7, & I'm trying to find out what the correct connection is for the Logitech X-530 Speakers is. That is, can I get all the 5 speakers to work at the same time?

It depends on the sound-card in the PC.

The "back-left" and "back-right" speakers require special connections to the sound-card.
The "left" and "right" and "centre" speakers are connected to the "main-stereo-audio-out" on the sound-card, as per normal.

I can not hear my speakers no volume. My system had to be reset by dell now nothing works

1. Try install the drivers for your system (including your sound card)
2. check all the connections (audio jacks) matching the colours and so on.

Hope it helps :)

X-530 to a laptop?

I have these same speakers set up on my Laptop. The solution I came to was to go to RadioShack and buy a 3 way Y splitter for headphones. RadioShack is the only maker of these that I could find but once I hooked the 3 wires into this it works just fine.

X-530 5.1 no souhd

will try to check your connection from the speaker to the pc, i think you cannot connect the exact audio output from your pc so you try to change the connection from back of the audio card and play your player from the pc to test the sound...............

Logitech x-530 speaker problem

Try going through this troubleshooting procedure site first:*uWZ8vi&p_accessibility=0&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9NzgmcF9wcm9kcz04NDQsMTcmcF9jYXRzPSZwX3B2PTIuMTcmcF9jdj0mcF9zZWFyY2hfdHlwZT1hbnN3ZXJzLnNlYXJjaF9ubCZwX3BhZ2U9Mg**&p_li=&p_topview=1 If you get no solution from this, there are other similar logitech speaker systems that have had similar problems on initial models. it appears that logitech have been very helpful with replacing speakers in the past if design or product is faulty. Give them a try. hope this helps:)

There should be a setting in your sound card, assuming it is a 5.1 surround card, that allows the card to split the signal from two input connections (normally the normal speaker input'green' and the mic input'pink')into the required 5.1 output.
