Question about Logitech Webcam
My Logitech ultravision is only a few weeks old.It worked fine until the other day. I use skype and everything worked. However today on a call to another skype user I noticed that I was not seeing my own video image in real time on my screen I just got a static video image. The person I was speaking to saw me in real time at his end and I could see him in real time.Is it a skype thing or is the webcam.
Recheck your Skype settings using the info listed below.
Normal 0 Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.
A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype set it up as follows:
The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now see and talk to you.
B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger set it up as follows:
C. Windows Live Messenger:
When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.
Hope this helps. Bud
