- Hi Again
There are no side, front, nor rear panels to rome on this Fisher & Paykel GWL15 washing machine
Any idea as how to access for the strainer
Thank you
Your strainer's likely plugged with the "sand". Locate your dtrainer, situated between the drum and pump, and connected to the drum with a rubber hose. Clean and reinstall it. Get all of the sand out, and remove any that you can see laying in the pump cavity, etc. Run an empty load to flush the machine. This may have to also be done a second time if there is a lot of residue.

- Hello again!
Usually, top loaders are accessabe by removing the rear panel, where front loaders are usually accessed by removing the kick panel under the main front panel. The strainers are usually attached to the pump housing, and most have a screw-in lid woth an "O" ring gasket. They are very tight, and it may take some leverage to get it started off. I use channel locks to gain mechanical adventage over it the first time. I always give the "O" ring and threads a shot of silicone spray before reassembly, just in case I ever have to go back into it.
Best regards, --W/D-- Thanks for rating my solution!

- You may have to remove the top to access the side fasteners.

I have a Fisher & Paykel IW812 Intuitive Eco. The problem started by randomly flashing lights when turned on with no readable display on the LED. After switching on and off it eventually came right. Sometimes it beeps when checking water level and then says power cut and starts again. Occassionally it gets to the wash cycle and gets to 27 minutes and beeps and says power cut and keeps resuming from the 27 minute mark. Sometimes it goes all the way through the cycle with no problems. Any help will be much appreciated
