Question about Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for PC

Printing Pictures My powerpoint does not print pictures within the slides. My chemisrty teacher makes his lessons on powerpoint and incorporates many pictures within the sildes. Most of them do not get printed. I contacted the HP printer technical support but they said to confer with Microsoft. Microsoft said confer with computer manufacturer, which is why I'm asking you how to get the pictures printed. When I try moving the pictures to Microsoft Word it still won't print.

Re: Printing Pictures

Your problem could be that the presentation has too many files which are too large for your printer to handle or simply too large for your computer to handle. Converting many graphic files into printer commands isn't one of PowerPoint's fortes. It happens quite often. I often will split a presentation into separate slides, just to get it to print. Alternatively you can remove the pictures and re-install them as downsized JPEG files, which will allow the whole presentation to print at once.

Re: Printing Pictures

I use Gadwin PrintScreen (Free version) and tweak it to capture any size rectangle that you draw on the screen.
To tweak, right click on the Systray icon. Select properties, then select Source, put a dot in the "Rectangular Area".
I have even used it for movie type files, just stop the motion where you want to, and run the Gadwin.

) What feature of Powerpoint 2010 helps in broadcasting slides to remote audience

Dear Anand,

To broadcast your presentation, do the following:
  1. On the Slide Show tab, in the Start Slide Show group, click Broadcast Slide Show.

The Broadcast Slide Show dialog box opens.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • If you want to host your slide show on the service listed under Broadcast Service, skip to the next step.
    • If you want to use some other service to host your slide show, click Change Broadcast Service. Under Choose a broadcast service, select the service that you want to use. For more information about broadcast services, see Choosing a broadcast service.

Note If you do not see the service that you want to use, select Add a new service, and then in the Add Broadcast Service dialog box, enter the network address of the service you want to use and then click Add.

  1. After you select your broadcast service, click Start Broadcast. PowerPoint then creates a URL for your presentation.

PowerPoint creates a unique URL for your slide show.

  1. To send the URL for your presentation to your audience, do one of the following:
    • To send the URL for your presentation by email, click Send in Email.
    • To copy the link, click Copy Link.
  2. When your audience receives the URL for the slide show, click Start Slide Show to begin your broadcast.

The audience follows your slide show in their browser while you present within PowerPoint 2010.

  1. After you finish presenting and are ready to end the broadcast, press ESC to exit Slide Show view and then click End Broadcast.

After you begin broadcasting a slide show, the Broadcast tab appears in the PowerPoint 2010 ribbon.

What graphic card to use?

Any modern graphics card will be fine. I do a great deal of work with photoshop. The best thing you could do is upgrade your memory (RAM) and calibrate your monitor (look into Spyder)

Card Pictures will not print

Change the Printer's Spool Settings.

  • Right Click on the PRINTER and choose PROPERTIES.

  • Under Printer Properties, select the DETAILS tab and click on the SPOOL SETTINGS button.

  • Change "SPOOL DATA FORMAT" from EMF to RAW (it may already be on this setting.)

  • Click on PRINT DIRECTLY TO PRINTER. Then click on OK.

  • Now Select the GRAPHICS or COLOR tab. If there is an option for RASTER mode, select this mode. Then lower the DPI setting and click on OK.

  • Also, make sure that the Print Mode is set to NORMAL and not Best.

  • Close the Printer Properties window by clicking on OK.

    3. Now set the printer as a default Printer. Right click on the PRINTER icon in the Printers Window and select "SET AS DEFAULT" to place a check mark by this option.

Please try printing and let me know if that fixes it.
