You need to run the smart restore tool to restore to the original windows status. If the tool exits with an error message about a missing file, you'll have to fix the tool to be able to restore XP. There is a partition on your laptop with the setup info for win xp as a hidden partition. that hidden partition is visible when u press a key at power on. The
key is flashed on your screen for a couple of seconds. that is the
restore partition and is how restoring things without
CDs is done nowadays. If that does not work then u have to do it the old fashion way. Install
windows from the CD (use the CD key that is labeled on your
laptop). Usually the sticker is on the back. Install all the drivers
and software (including MS office) manually.
Not quite sure, but I think you can only activate windows 5 times with the cd key and office 20 times. Tell me how it goes. All the best!
