You will setup it first in your bios, when you reboot your pc hit F2 and it will go to BIOS, after that choose BOOT SEQUENCE/BOOT PRIORITY, and the put in first boot your CD/DVD drive then second you HDD and 3r you FDD. and go to SAVE BEFORE EXIT. And thats it.
PS. This instruction is for WIN2000/WINXP/WINVISTA not for WIN98 For any question just PM me

You can download the driver's for the website ... by putting the make and model no of the laptop....

you need to set up bios so laptop boots from cd drive not hard drive when you have done this press f10 to save you will be asked press any key to boot from cd rom make sure your operating system disk is in drive windows will do the rest.
if you want it to be factory settings, you would need the exact same Operatin Sytem installation disk which they probably didnt give you. The reason i say the same is because your serial numbers wont match as your original OS. Anyways if you only doing it to sell the laptop or two have a fresh Operating system, i would recomend you !1) Get a copy os Windows XP 2) Backup all your important files 3) Format your laptop and reinstall XP 4) Restore your files 5) Download (If you dont have it already) your drivers for your laptop. This can be found on Toshibas website. 6) Install all drivers and thats it. You have a Factory Set Laptop
I don't think Vista has a working driver for the T2000 because it was designed for XP..Unless you upgraded the XP you had to Vista. You should install XP back on the laptop then go to (www.mpcdrivers.com)where you can get the exact drivers for your base unit and the XP operating system.Putting XP back on it, is really the only sensible thing to do, to ensure all hardware will be installed ,especially the biometrics. Thanks
First of all you cannot put an xp upgrade into Vista, they are 2 different Operating systems. Yo would have to partition the hard drive to use a different "vista" operating system. And would to purchase Vista. .
A blue screen is an operating system error. this can be caused by either a corrupt operating system or a failed hard drive. What you will need to do is run a system repair with your recovery or operating system disc. If the repair doesn't take then reformat the hard drive and install a fresh operating system. If you have any issues during or after the format or install, then the hard drive has failed and will need replaced.
