I entered product key from base of my laptop and

I entered product key from base of my laptop and it stated to retry as it was incorrect. this number was correct when I rechecked it 3 times. I had the mother board replaced as this laptop is only 8 months old and was faulty when purchased. Is this why the number is coming up as incorrect? please help me find a solution

good day, well it seems the original software that is being installed has been change since you you have change your motherboard. The new installation is different from the old one i'm sure, so check with the store who re-installed your software/OS...
