i inherated my parents vr4940 when they passed away it works good but dont have manual to figure out why i can only recive 33 channels when i auto program my tv with just cable line gets 72 plus what can i do to fix this problem?

WHAT IS YOUR UNIT A SATTELITE RECEIVER IF IT IS A SATTELITE YOU NEED TOO KNOW THE FREQUIENCY TO GET THE CHANNELS
