try taking SIM and battery out placing it back in an powering on.
If you try this and it still does not work you may need a new SIM card.
Take it to a local dealer they should have a new SIM they will put your
number on it and you will be back in business.
If the new SIM doesn't not work you will now know it is your Phone, which means time for a new one.
Insert SIM card means that the SIM is not seated correctly. It may not be locked into place and got jostled around when you plugged the phone into power. This message would not relate to a battery going dead, only to the device not recognizing the SIM card and that would only be if the SIM was not activated (which you know that it is active) or if it is not properly seated (locked down, etc.). Make sure that the SIM is properly seated (look at the manual to be sure) and then you should be okay. If this is not the case, and the SIM is properly seated, then the device is defective, broken or the unlocking caused faulty errors.
attempt to take the SIM card out and gently wipe it off (pay especial detail to the copper connectors on the under-side.) after that, give a gentle blow to the recieving area for the sim on the phone and place the sim back in the phone, power up, and hopefully this problem will be solved. this issue occurs often to myself and this seems to be a very simple solution.
